Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
To have such a soft heart inclined to react to the Quran is the fruit of pondering its vast meanings and recalling the limitless might of Allah, the Most Exalted. It is also an evidence that the person is devout to the Holy Quran. While Muslims should aspire to acquire these qualities, they should, at the same time, be cautious not to be overwhelmed by self-praise and boast.
Having a soft responsive heart is also a result of the Muslim's willingness to observe obligatory prayers and increase Nawafil (optional prayers) as much as possible. This should be coupled with a strong belief in the fact that this life is a test and that man will stand before Allah, the Most Exalted, for accountability.
Such a feeling of (benign) jealousy you have should be an impetus for you to further memorise the Quran and increase your knowledge of its meanings and provisions. Through these acts, you can easily apply what you have learnt from the Quran to your daily life. And Allah knows best.
